Pre-Show Promotion
Participating in MIAC can deliver even more concrete and profitable results if supported by promotional activity carried out well in advance. For this reason, each Exhibiting Company is strongly advised to promote its presence at the Exhibition starting several months before the event, both in Italy and abroad, involving current and potential customers.
It is recommended to forward these guidelines to colleagues in the marketing and sales departments well in advance.
Sending the preregistration link
Inviting customers through the preregistration link is one of the most effective ways to encourage visits to your stand. It is advisable to start sending invitations two or three months before the event and to repeat them in the weeks leading up to it.
Online preregistration links(reserved for your current and potential customers – not for employees of the Exhibiting Company)
- Italian visitors: www.miac.info/preregistrazione
- Foreign visitors: www.miac.info/en/preregister
Sending promotional emails
It is advisable to send emails to current and potential customers to inform them of your presence at MIAC and invite them to visit your stand. In every communication, it is also advisable to include your stand number and the preregistration link.
Website and social media channels
Promote your participation in MIAC on your website and social media channels by publishing banners, the Exhibition logo and your stand number, with a link to the official website www.miac.info/en or directly to your profile on the MIAC Digital Catalog at www.miaccatalog.com/en
Banners and logos are available on the homepage of this online Control Panel.
Sales force and commercial activity
Your sales staff should directly invite current and potential customers to visit your stand during visits, phone calls, emails or other direct contacts. Whenever possible, it is useful to propose a specific appointment at the exhibition.
Pre-show advertising
Promoting your participation in trade magazines and websites in the paper industry, both in Italy and abroad, is an additional opportunity to increase visibility before MIAC. It is also useful to include a reference to MIAC in your advertising campaigns.
Other useful promotional tools
To further strengthen communication about your participation in MIAC, it may also be useful to adopt these simple initiatives:
- include a reference to MIAC in your company email signature
- publish news and press releases on your website and social media channels
- create a dedicated page on your website
- invite customers through LinkedIn, WhatsApp or other direct channels, such as email
- schedule communication in several phases, for example with an initial “save the date” message, a second operational invitation and a final reminder shortly before the Exhibition.
Conclusion
Promotion started well in advance, repeated several times and directed specifically to customers helps increase the company’s visibility and enhance participation in MIAC to the fullest.
